Came with a friend to enjoy sushi and ramen. Upon arrival, it was quite busy so we sat at the bar. We received great customer service for our waitress! For happy hour we ordered - karaage, gyoza, spicy tuna roll, and shrimp tempura roll - killer geisha (mango) for drink and spice mule. The karaage was fresh and tasty and we enjoyed the gyoza as well. The sushi was ok - the rolls were falling apart and it made for messy eating. For ramen, we ordered the chicken ramen and added additional toppings on both with a side of spice. I really enjoyed my ramen as the noodles were cooked how I enjoy - firm - and the broth was flavorful. The spice added just the right amount of kick to it! Overall, we enjoyed the food and I look forward to returning!

Great food and good size portions. So far the spicy miso and spicy chicken miso soups have both been great. Have only had carry out so far.

Ambiance gives a moody, intimate vibe when you walk in. There's some beautiful murals painted around the walls to admire & Asian style seating tables towards the front that are cool. I like that this place will sit multiple parties at one table as well, encouraging you to socialize with people you normally might not. There were three of us who came during their happy hour (served 3-7pm during the week). We ordered quite a few appetizers as you'll see pictured below. I highly recommend their bang bang shrimp & the gyozas. The shrimp were bigger than expected for an appetizer, perfectly breaded & had nice flavor without being overwhelmingly spicy. The gyozas also were great, balancing the umami flavors with the saltiness of the sauce it comes with. My least favorite appetizer was the calamari. When it came out at first I thought they were onion rings. Entirely too much breading in my opinion. For entrees we all got different variations of ramen, from chicken to tonkatsu to shoyu. Though the ramen wasn't on happy hour their portion size was, which is appreciated because the appetizers are very filling so it helps to decrease waste. I've been all around DFW trying different Tonkatsu ramen, so knowing that I think theirs is just ok. If you're looking to pig out for pennies then this is the place to be. Expect a 20 min wait for happy hour if you're not on the wait list, but service is fast & smooth once seated.

I live coming to Killer ramen. The ramen is amazing and the atmosphere is great. Nice and friendly staff. Plenty of room and bathrooms are clean. Definitely recommend stoping by !!!

Piranha's has delicious sushi and great lunch hour for some of my favorite rolls. The service was great so we really enjoyed our dinner. It was steadily busy while we were here. The dumpling appetizers were great as well. I look forward to having another meal at this Piranha's.

Killer Ramen - A Highlands Gem for Ramen Lovers Killer Ramen is hands-down one of my favorite spots for ramen in the Highlands! The consistency in their dishes keeps me coming back. I usually go for the Kimchi Ramen or Miso Soup Ramen, but this visit, I tried the seasonal Kare Bowl Ramen. It was incredible--savory, perfectly balanced, not a creamy both and not overly spicy. I'm crossing my fingers they make it a permanent menu item because it's my new favorite! The noodles tonight were cooked to perfection--chewy yet tender, exactly how ramen noodles should be. My husband loves their Curry Noodles, which come dry but he likes to add a Miso Broth on the side, making it versatile and delicious, whether you enjoy it dry or wet. We started with the Takoyaki (octopus balls)--crispy on the outside with so much and flavor on the inside--and the Bang-Bang Shrimp, which was a perfect crunch. For drinks, I opted for their seasonal creamy liquor- Kome Rita. It's strong-- THAT IS LIQUORE -- rich, and reminiscent of an Irish cream, so be prepared for a kick! It was packed, as expected on a Saturday, with a comedy show happening next door. We were lucky to snag seats in the cozy, traditional-style seating area with floor cushions, which adds to the authenticity. The restaurant also offers a mix of indoor and outdoor seating, with two bars to cater to every mood. The staff is always great! Very informative about the dishes with recommendations to help you have the best eating experience. If you're in the Highlands area and craving ramen or unique seasonal dishes, Killer Ramen is a must-visit. The combination of amazing food, welcoming vibes, and thoughtful seating options makes it a place we frequent often.

This Japanese ramen spot is hands down one of our favorite places to dine! My son and I always look forward to our visits here, and it's become a special go-to for us. One of the highlights is their unbeatable happy hour, where the prices for food are so good that it feels like a hidden gem. The value is incredible--you get top-quality dishes at really affordable prices, making it easy to try a variety of menu items without breaking the bank. The food here is consistently amazing. The gyoza is always perfectly crisp on the outside with a juicy, flavorful filling. Their ramen is rich, hearty, and packed with flavor, with a broth that's clearly made with care. We also love the takoyaki, which has that perfect balance of a crispy exterior and a warm, tender center that's simply mouthwatering. And the sushi? Always fresh, with quality cuts and precise preparation that make each bite delicious. Their cocktail menu is another reason we keep coming back. They offer creative and well-crafted drinks that pair perfectly with their dishes. Whether you're in the mood for a classic cocktail or something more adventurous, there's always an option that hits the spot and adds to the dining experience. To top it all off, the service is warm and attentive, making us feel welcome every time. The staff goes out of their way to ensure that everyone has a great dining experience, which adds to the relaxed, friendly atmosphere. It's the kind of spot where you can enjoy an amazing meal, a good drink, and create special memories. If you're looking for a place that offers fantastic Japanese food, great prices, and a welcoming vibe, this is definitely it!

I am staying at a hotel nearby and was in the mood for some ramen. Their happy hour is great! Everything I got was phenomenal!! Devoured it all. I sat at the bar and service was great. The restaurant has a great cozy vibe. Warm lighting but not overbearing and quiet enough for conversation.
